Description
Metal, paper, rose petals. 20th century. Height: 2", Length: 1 5/8", Depth: 1/2". Small metal book-shaped reliquary container with an image of St. Therese of Lisieux on the cover and "Made in Germany" stamped to the back. "Roses blessed on the feast of St. Therese, Oct. 3, 1966" handwritten on a paper in the interior. The box contains numerous rose petals. Provenance: From the Estate of Mary Jane Devlin, lifelong resident of Toledo's Old West End and grandniece of Michael J. Owens, glass manufacturer and inventor.
Condition
Good condition, secure latch. Some tarnish and discoloration on the metal. Rose petals appear mostly whole. Condition reports are available from Stefek's upon request.
