Stunning Four Gallon Edgefield Landrum Jug Circa 1840's Slave Made. This is one of the largest single handle vessel we have the privilege to offer. The glaze is simply Stunning. Slave made piece with fine tooled rim collar treatment and strong Landrum bulbus form. The jug is a large and heavy four gallons in size capacity. The jug has a rich heavy glaze of earthy brown body with a stellar heavy lime glaze over runs that encase the entire jug. Highly important jug with fantastic eye appeal and character.
