2 Pairs of Zhuang Child's Pants With Attached Shoes, Yunnan Province, China, Early-Mid 20th C. Silk, cotton, bast fiber, foil, metal button; appliqué, embroidery, couching. 2 pairs of open crotch cotton cloth pants for a child. They are sewn to cloth shoes, constructed primarily of cotton, with bast fabric applique, foil couching and silk embroidery, one with metal button front closure. Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection. Size: 1) 16'' x 13'', (41 x 33 cm); 2) 17'' x 11'', (43 x 28 cm).
