Chinese Ming Dynasty Wanli Blue and White Porcelain Charger. The plate has a broad wide central interior, round mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of group of children studying together bellow dense tree on the garden terrace. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The Upper-rim bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue rectangle lines. Made in The Years of Wanli Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition. Natural Porcelain imperfection, minor scratches. NO Damage Vissible, NO Crack, NO Hairlines, NO Chips.
