Chinese Ming Xuande Blue and White Dragon Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, round mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of five claws imperial dragon soaring amidst flames, vapors, chasing blazing pearl amidst scrolling cumulus clouds, with face toward the heavens. The backdrop depicts swirling wind and fire painted atop a beautiful white under glaze. Which attracting unceasingly admiration. The Upper-rim bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years of Xuande Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
