Two Nina Ricci Ensembles, 1989

This lot contains two two-piece ensembles.

THE FIRST
Strapless dress and jacket of black linen trimmed with black silk printed with white dots. The strapless dress is made with a boned bodice covered in the black silk, while the straight skirt is made of a linen-blen pleated into the waistline. The dress is fully lined, closes down the center back with a zip, and has a pocket over each hip.
The jacket is made of the black linen trimmed with gathered black silk printed with white dots. The jacket is lined and closes with a single snap at the hem.

The dress is cut with a draped bodice, v-neckline, long sleeves, and a draped skirt tucked into the waistband. The dress is unlined and closes down the center back with a zipper.
The jacket is made of cotton pique printed with a colorful floral pattern, long sleeves, a pocket over each hip, and a center front with no closures.
