DESCRIPTION: 19th century softwood South Central Pennsylvania double door cupboard painted by the folk artist Clyde Stacks of Lebanon County (1916-1988). Double paneled blind door and double drawer base resting on bracket feet. Separate but original top consisting of double paneled blind doors beneath an applied molding. The case with later paint decoration of a red ground, applied grain decoration, and floral motifs. MEASUREMENTS: Overall 47-5/8" wide x 22" deep x 80-1/2" high. CONDITION: Overall surface wear. Wear to wood, especially on sides and edges. Warping to center of doors. MH. IMPORTANT: Before bidding, please read the terms and conditions.
