Vintage Sterling Southweatern Turquoise Cluster Ring, Sz. 9.5. Southestern stamped leaf or feather wraps up over the side of the ring covering part of a cluster of turquoise pieces set in a sawtooth bezel. The other side of the ring has a turquoise triangular shaped turquoise stone that is appx. 13mm by 8.5mm. There are stamped suns on the shoulders of the upper bands along with other stamped marks. The cluster could be someone's creative way of designing the ring or of filling in when a stone was lost or not having one to fit the design. The ring has an older design to it, perhaps 1940's-1950's. It tests as sterling and the weight is appx. 7.13 grams. The top of the ring is 12mm by 12mm where the stones are set and top shoulders are appx. 13mm wide and taper to 3m mat the back of the finger. The ring does have some wear, mostly on the band and oxidation especially inside the band and it appears that it may be signed but I do not polish ring as many vintage buyers prefer the ring to be as is when they receive it. It does have a nice old time look and feel and is quite unusual. Good condition and even better after it is polished up. (INV. W.121220.2X21 SS3845 J LD 2/26/21),
