DESCRIPTION: Three piece Qing dynasty export silver tea set-including one teapot, one creamer, and one sugar cellar-each piece of which is round, raised on a flared foot, and adorned with (a) bamboo form handle(s) and lip. Cellar and creamer are decorated with chased bird, floral, and foliage motifs; teapot bears a chased chrysanthemum design on one side and a chase scene of a scholar taking tea on the other. On teapot, Han characters and a cartouche with maker's mark are chased adjacent to handle. Dimensions are as follows:

Teapot - H: 5.75" W: 5.25" L: 9.25"
Creamer - H: 3.75" W: 3.25" L: 4.5"
Sugar cellar - H: 3.5" W: 3.75" L: 5.75"
