Signed by Kennedy in dark fountain pen ink to the lower photographer's mount, 'For Jimmy Van Heusen - with my warmest regards, John Kennedy'. Matted in black and cream to an overall size of 15.5 x 19.5. An impressive signed portrait with interesting association. VG Jimmy Van Heusen (1913-1990) American composer, Academy Award winner. Van Heusen's Oscar winning song High Hopes, popularised by Frank Sinatra, was used as the theme song for the 1960 presidential campaign of John F. Kennedy.
