Description
Meissen porcelain figural group of the "Rape of Persephone" 1860-1890 after the model by Joachim Kaendler of 1750, and depicting Hades with Persephone, clothed, over his left shoulder, on a parcel gilded rocaille base, the underside marked with the cobalt crossed swords, impressed mark "59" and incised mark "1787" and black number 34. 7" H x 5" W x 4" D.
