Chinese Porcelain Plate, probably modern in date, Is richly decorated with four panels, each featuring floral motifs. The paintings are achieved with underglaze blue cobalt and overglaze enamels. Gold accents enliven the surface. The round panel presents a rooster and hen under a flowering peony bush. The other three panels are densely decorated with seasonal motifs of bamboo, plum blossoms, orchids and narcissus. Six characters are inscribed on base.
