Two English Silk Needlework Pictures, Early 19thc. Oval forms, the first depicting a woman as Pomona, standing in an autumn landscape holding a cornucopia of fruit, together with another depicting a woman feeding chickens, worked in wool with paint on silk. Matted and framed.
Dimensions: 12.5 x 9.5 in. image size, 18.5 x 15.5 in. as framed.in silk embroidery and paint on silk, matted and framed.
Dimensions: 13 x 10.5 in. image size, 18.5 x 16 in. as framed.
Condition: slightly faded, with weakness and tears in silk at top and left side.
