A George I carved walnut settee early 18th century

With high double-arched back, rolled arms and padded wings, cabriole legs with acanthus and floral carving, on pad feet, custom upholstery.

Condition
with wear to legs and feet, including scuffing and scraping along edges, most visible to center front leg; center front leg with crack along left-facing side, and the leg overall slightly loose, with the pins popping a bit; the back legs with former breaks along side edges repaired via pins, these legs also having some surface build-up typical of multiple layers of refinishing over time; nicely upholstered, the fabric showing light wear from use
