Kerr Eby, American, 1889-1946, "Rough Going". An evocative image of WWI by American artist Harold Kerr Eby, this etching with drypoint measures 8 1/4" x 11 3/4", pencil signed in an edition of 60, second published state, 1919, Giardina cat: 29. Eby's WWI experiences in France lead to this richly inked image of infantry marching through the results of war. Very richly inked with drypoint burr.
