Description
This etching by the American artist Joseph Schaldach measures 6 1/2" x 5 3/4" and is pencil signed. Schaldach followed his lifelong passion for hunting, fishing and the outdoors in his many etchings, aquatints and drypoints. Moving from his home state of Indiana to NYC, he sold fishing tackle during the day and attended the Art Students League during the evening where he learned his craft under the watchful eye of John Sloan and George Bridgman.
