Signed lower left, titled and dated verso on the Masonite panel.
Richard Sigafoos was a respected Buffalo, New York impressionist painter, muralist, illustrator and teacher who exhibited widely and received numerous awards throughout the 1930s. He obviously spent time in the storied Rockport, Maine artist's colony, per the title and inscription of this work.
Panel measures 14.25 x 18.25 with a framed size of 18.5 x 22.75 inches.
