Attractively designed view book of Marin County, north of San Francisco. The main text is "The story of Marin County, California : its attractions, climate, resources and opportunities," by Newton E. Clemenson. On the inside of the back wrapper is a paragraph by Jack London on the marvels of Marin, which rival "the Riviera, the sights of Egypt, and the wonders of India." The front cover title reads Souvenir of Marin County California. The numerous photographs include views of Sausalito, Mill Valley, Mount Tamalpais Railway, Muir Woods, Ross, Kentfield, San Anselmo, Camp Taylor, Fairfax, Belvedere, Corte Madera, San Rafael, Novato, and Baltimore Park. OCLC locates four copies, at the California Historical Society, California State Library, Marin County Free Library, and the University of California Berkeley.
