Description
A Polish karabela sword known as a Black Saber features the characteristic form hilt and wooden grip with finger stalls covered in black leather. The slightly curved blade has a narrow double fuller. Marked on the ricasso with the date 1838 and an engraved image of an eagle head and with the initials J.M. on the other side. No scabbard.
