Description
Jim Dine (American, b. 1935). Lithograph and etching titled "The Sky in Madison, Wisconsin" depicting tools detailed and outlined in black with splashes of blue above them, 2004. On two sheets of paper. Pencil signed, numbered 13/22, and dated along the lower margin across both sheets.
Dine is often associated with the Neo-Dada, Abstract Expressionism, and Pop Art movements. His works are held in the collections of prestigious institutions such as the Art Institute of Chicago, the Fogg Art Museum, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the Guggenheim, the Tate Gallery, the Whitney, and the Stedelijk Museum.
