Hillwood Estate, Museum & Garden's Faberge collection includes about ninety pieces, including two imperial Easter eggs, various works of art of imperial provenance, silver, jewelry, hardstone, and religious items. The collection was studied and published by Katrina V.H. Taylor in 1983 ("Faberge at Hillwood").

Peter Carl Faberge, also known as Karl Gustavovich Faberge ( 1846-1920), was a Russian jeweller best known for the famous Faberge eggs made in the style of genuine Easter eggs, but using precious metals and gemstones rather than more mundane materials.
