The keyblocks were printed in blue. Each was signed by the artist "Zen Hokusai Iitsu" The placement of the cartouches and seals is indicated in the notes which follow. The KIRIFURI WATERFALL is one of the three famous waterfalls in Nikko. The cascade only produces a mid-current and it is possible to take a dip in the lower pool without danger but is dangerous to approach the upper stage the ground being steep and difficult to climb up. Two groups of figures are shown a group of three travelers standing in admiration at the base of the fall and a pair of travelers scrambling on the slope of the mountain to the right of the fall. The title cartouche is at the upper right and the artist signature is at the bottom right the trademark appears the circular KIWAME seal and square seal of publisher.

The print itself is a very good color impression and has never been framed excellent overall with no issues to report.
