French Carved and Pierced Giltwood Firescreen
fourth quarter 19th century, in the Louis XVI taste, the pierced bowknot crest and ribbon-bound reed surround set with an oval needlework panel decorated with a basket of flowers, the corners with pierced laurel leaves and berries, on leaf-carved cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet.
