Pair of Impressive French Marble and Gilt-Bronze Garniture Urns
fourth quarter 19th century, the urns with handles decorated with winged griffins and trailing fruit, the facades with leaf-molded mounts and reeded and stop-fluted bases, the bases with turreted corners supported on tapered, reeded legs, with matching molded bronze caps, formerly fitted as lamps.

Condition
In overall good condition.
Gilt-bronze mounts with copious rich detail; bronze covers sit a bit askew. Marble elements good overall. The upper rim of one with several cracks but secure and in place. Both examples with very scattered nicks and dings to the edges.
