Four Pictorial Ceramic, Glass and Enamel Objects. Comprising: a French Art Nouveau iridescent glazed porcelain compote, with gilt metal mounts and handles, the bowl well painted with a young lady whose head and bust are decorated with poppies swirling in her hair, amid irises. Offered together with a late 19th Century oval miniature with a view of the Taj Mahal under glass, within an ebonized, carved wood frame; a toy ewer, the body formed by an ovoid enamel painting on glass of the Chicago Exposition of 1895, the lip, foot and handle of brass, and a Vienna Style ovoidal miniature painted with a pensive cupid, his chin resting on his hand, on an marble plinth, within a gilt brass scrolling frame. The compote bearing spurioius faux Sevres marks, with HENRY FRANCE to mounts. Circa 1895-1915. {Approximate dimensions: Height overall from 3 - 7 1/4 inches.}. Condition: Patina and irregularities to the glaze of the compote; splotches to back of and wear to ewer, age-related wear to ovoid miniature.
