Twelve Austrian Porcelain Fuchsia Rim Cabinet Plates. Vienna Style Porcelain, with gilt bands and stylized foliate bands in gold bracketing a band of white 'pearls' to the rims, and raised gilt dots above scallops toward the gilt banded cavetto; enclosing polychrome printed and in-painted scenes of lovers in various settings. Most, signed at 6 o'clock, in gold. Overglaze blue shield mark, and some printed in black MADE /IN/ AUSTRIA, with scene named in iron-red enamel to versos. Mid 20th Century. {Approximate dimensions: 10 5/8 inches diameter}. Condition: The plates are in good condition, each with some wear / abrasions to the gilt cavetto. Minor wear and scratches to enamels from stacking.
