Item/Description: Unique, antique hand-carved Chinese Tianhuang Stone Seal good luck seal fashioned from a polished natural stone. Free standing sculpture. Golden-brown hued stone, three-dimensional. Finely incised carvings of Chinese motifs of pagodas, blossoming trees, birds, cranes, ponds and swirling clouds and mountains. Chinese lettering characters on sides and base loosely translates to auspicious, lucky. Outstanding and unique. According to research, seals are a dominant art form in Chinese culture. Dating back millenia, they combined the essence of calligraphy and engraving and were used as a signature to mark important documents, pieces of art or contracts.
