Description
Collection of three extremely early tobacco tins with outstanding graphics. (A) Dixie Queen Plug Cut Tobacco tin. CONDITION: There is minor staining and fade to the color. The can has outstanding crackle paint throughout the entire piece. There are a few areas of scratching all the way through the paint, none of which distracts from the excellent graphic. (B) Dixie Kid Cut Plug Tobacco tin. CONDITION: There is significant paint loss and scratching throughout, as well as, noticeable denting. Overall a nice displaying tin. (C) Kennebec tin. CONDITION: Complete with the original factory labels. The tin has minor areas of paint loss and denting. The back-right corner has been soldered together. The Native American graphic shows excellent crackle paint. Condition: (6.75, 7.9, 7.0)). Dimensions: Largest: 8" x 5 - 1/4" x 3 - 3/4".
