TWO CENTRAL AFRICAN INTRICATELY WOODEN HEDDLEY PULLEYS, Early-to-mid 20th century. Highly and deeply carved wooden heddley pulleys from likely Senufo or Baule Peoples. The double headed women heddley pulley is riding a donkey while the other one (with a polichromed hat) is riding a turtle. Both are presented on stands. - Height: 8 inches (pulley with green polychromed horns); base: 1.25 inches.
