§ A GEORGE IV SILVER TEAPOT
by Hyam Hyams, London 1824, compressed rounded form, the body repoussé decorated with fruiting vines and scrolls and raised on four bracket feet, the hinged cover with figural finial, the leaf-capped handle with ivory insulators. 27cm long, 22.1 troy ounces
With non-transferable standard ivory exemption declaration number DC51L42N
Clear marks on the underside and cover. Handle pins secure. The hinge is in good order, and the lid closes well. The teapot does rock a little. No personalised engraving or evidence of erasure. Tiny vent hole to the centre of one flower to the cover. In generally good condition commensurate with age.
