Biedermeier Black Walnut Ebonized Day Bed and a Head and Footboard with One Rail

40 1/2 x 36 3/4 x 7 ft. 4 1/2 in. (exterior); 6 ft. 8 in. x 33 in. (interior); the day bed. 40 1/2 x 38 1/2 in., the foot and headboards. 5 ft. 4 1/2 in. length of rail.

Condition

Minor seam separations, veneer replacements, nicks and staining. Lacking molded border on one foot. One ebonized column loose. Beautiful, figured walnut. The rail with minor nicks to the gilded surface. The other head and footboards are generally good condition with age splits and seam separations. Very minor veneer losses and old restorations which have oxidized over time.
