Description
David Pelbaum (1932-2004) - While David Pelbam is well known for his portrait paintings, this is the only known Pelbam original painting with more than one subject person. Here we see 3 rabbis discussing matters on what appears to be a rooftop or a hillside in Jerusalem with the Temple Mount in the background. This is a fine art painting with a damaged canvas. Unfortunately, this piece has been the victim of several pinholes as shown in photos. These could be fairly easily repaired. The frame is also vintage and has a few flaws. The frame measures approximately 56" long by 32" tall in total. The frame and matte are 4" on all sides. May benefit from some minimal cleaning because there were several cats in the house. This lot is not available for our "in-house" shipping service. It can be picked up locally, or we can take it to the UPS Store for their Pack & Ship service. Please be advised that UPS often charges a minimum of $100 for their packing and shipping service, and their cost increases as the size of the item and shipping distance increases.
