Signed lower left as shown and measuring 16" x 20" canvas image size and 26" tall x 22" wide including the frame its contained in. Frame shows little loss lower right, screw holes where frame was fixed to a wall at some point otherwise good condition as shown. Original F.R. Frost and Reed label on verso registered number 26636 as shown, see photos. Michael Lyne was a British painter who was born in 1912.Roundtree Tyron Galleries featured Michael Lyne's work in the past.Michael Lyne's work has been offered at auction multiple times. Since 1998 the record price for this artist at auction is 24,675 USD for THE END OF THE DAY sold at Christie's New York in 2001. The artist died in 1989.
