Description
England, circa 1905, showing copper glazed organic motifs of rooted trees rising to leafy branches, intersecting panels decorated in the 'Eastern Figures' pattern beneath a sepia toned Holbein glaze, minor flake to back, hairlines at base. After a work by early 20th century American artist William H. Bradley, whose work was very much influenced by designs created by British artist Aubrey Beardsley. The underside bearing Doulton factory marks and Morrisian pattern marks. Dimensions, 24.25" high x 15" wide x 10" deep.
