Other notes: Paper label identifies this sculpture as being by the artist as part of one of Anderson's numerous one man shows at Allan Stone Gallery (now Allan Stone Projects) in New York. Anderson was represented by Allen Stone Gallery, 1963-2013. Likely this work is one of his earlier pieces, ca. 1960-1979. Anderson is represented in several permanent collections including The Whitney and MOMA.

Overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, indentations, and separation at joints commensurate with age. please note: There are several carved wood shapes contained within the body of the pot. These are mechanically dumped via the connecting mechanism that opens the lid.
