Felix Bracquemond, French, 1833 to 1914, etching The Question Mark, c 1865. The artwork depicts several ducks in a water pond. Signed by the artist on the lower right. Matted and framed. Note: Felix Bracequemond was regarded as a prominent artist in late 19th century France. Felix was a close friend of Manet, Whistler, Corot, Millet, and other well known artists. It is said that Felix Bracquemond is the person who recognized the beauty of Hokusai woodcuts that were used as packing in a shipment of Japanese china.
