Aldrin and Collins Signed Apollo 11 Lunar Landing Photo
A 20" x 16" silk-finish color photo signed by Buzz Aldrin in blue felt tip at lower right, "Buzz Aldrin", and Michael Collins in silver ink at top left, "Michael Collins / Apollo XI", showing Aldrin on the lunar surface, as taken by Neil Armstrong who appears in Aldrin's visor. Small bend at lower left corner. A dramatic image boldly signed and in near fine condition. Accompanied by Novaspace COAs for both signatures.
Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin (b.1930) is an American astronaut, engineer and fighter pilot. He made three spacewalks as pilot of the 1966 Gemini 12 mission. As the Lunar Module Eagle pilot on the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, Aldrin and mission commander Neil Armstrong were the first two people to land on the Moon.
Michael Collins (1930-2021) was an American astronaut who flew the Apollo 11 command module Columbia around the Moon in 1969 while his crewmates, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, made the first crewed landing on the surface. He was also a test pilot and major general in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
