Al Worden Signed Oversized Photo of Apollo 15 Command Module
A striking poster-sized photo of the Apollo 15 module being placed in an altitude chamber signed by astronaut Al Worden. Measuring 16" x 20", n.p., April 1971. A black and white image of the Apollo 15 CM being lowered into the chamber with numerous NASA scientists seen below. Alfred Merrill Worden (1932-2020) was an American test pilot, engineer and NASA astronaut who was the command module pilot for the Apollo 15 lunar mission in 1971. He is also one of only 24 people to have flown to the Moon, having orbited it 74 times in the command module "Endeavour."
