Norman Rockwell Red Cross Poster Urging Americans to "Mobilize for Defense"
Norman Rockwell (1894-1978) WWII-era poster picturing three classic Rockwell characters above the message, "Support the 1951 Red Cross Fund". Rockwell's distinctive logo is visible at the lower right. Richly-colored vintage poster on matte paper measuring 15" x 19" is a beautiful tribute to the Red Cross's war relief effort. Minor creasing, else in fine condition.
The American Red Cross was established by Clara Barton in Dansville, New York on May 21, 1881. It is a non-profit humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States.
