The canvas has been glue lined. There is very fine craquelure in areas, which is most visible in the clouds. The varnish has discolored yellow and the surface is slightly dirty. Under UV, there are some possible older areas of repaint in the sky and landscape. An old opaque varnish remains over the majority of the composition.
