Utagawa Toyokuni II, Japanese, 1777 to 1835, also known as Toyoshige, colored woodblock print on paper depicting a Geisha Courtesan in the Courtyard. Circa: 1830s. Inscribed upper right and signed lower right. Utagawa Toyokuni II, also known as Toyoshige, was a designer of ukiyo-e Japanese woodblock prints in Edo.
