Headboard features two drop-front doors concealing storage flanked by custom fitted light fixtures by George Raustiala. Sold with a signed receipt and letter from the artist.

Bed frame accommodates a California King-size mattress. Minor wear overall including a small concentration of impressions and points of impact to lower edge of panel. Lesser scuffs and impressions to bed frame with few brushes of light-colored transfer, consistent with age and use over time. Slightly uneven patina and apparent sun-fading primarily to upper and lower left of the headboard. Minor rubbed paint losses to light fixtures with localized handling marks to mounting hardware and associated light scuffs to wood. The left canopy where the lights are attached to the bedframe with 7 misshapen points where it was lifted. Lamps require professional rewiring prior to use. Presents in very good vintage condition overall.
