A dovetailed poplar wood 18th century blanket box having rattail hinges, interior till, carved wooden handles, and molded edge. The rattail hinges are hand forge iron from the early 19th century and replace the original 18th century cotter pin hinges. Overall good condition. Measures 50"W x 19 1/4"D x 19 3/4"H.
