Description
Two small framed wax or terra cotta sculptures of Roman mythology figures mounted in original shadow box frames with gold insets, early 19th century. The first of a nude lady, probably Ceres, goddess of agriculture, holding wheat and sickle, and the second of an unknown goddess wearing a long blue dress and brown cloak holding flowers - original paint. Both in very good original condition. Each measures 5 7/8"W x 8 1/4"H x 1 1/8" deep.
