A primitive 17th century Jacobean oak table with 1 long drop leaf with swing leg - the legs with sausage turnings and attach to cross stretchers showing good wear - note the scrolled carvings across the front of the apron typical of the furniture from this period . The table in closed position forms a console table that can be placed against a wall. When the leaf is raised, it forms a small farm table measuring 41 1/2" square x xxH - as a console table with leaves down, it measures 41 1/2"W x 20 1/2"D. The end of the drop leaf has 1 replaced section of wood, some use wear, and otherwise good condition.
