Walter Addison, New York, 1914-1982. Two mid-century style hand painted terra cotta serving bowls, one decorated with flowers and signed Addison - measures 13"L x 7 1/2"W x 2 1/4"H - very good condition; and the other decorated with butterflies, signed Addison - measures 9 1/4"L x 7 3/8"W x 2 1/4"H - very good condition. Provenance: Consigned by family. All artwork was found in his cottage in Washington Depot, Connecticut, on the banks of the Shepaug River, where he lived with his wife Rhoda from 1965 until his death in 1982.
