A grouping of mostly advertising boxes including: Clarendon Collar box; a wooden box marked "Fragile" with 0's in corner; an 1893 holiday cigar box with lithographed paper interior marked "Merry Christmas - Happy New Year"; a Yardley slide lid soap box probably late 19th century; an Elmwood Collar box filled with 19ith century newspaper clippings - base is loose from box; a small mid 19th century pincushion sewing box with wall paper border - 3 1/4" diameter x 2"H; and a folkart hand painted young girl's ditty box marked on the interior "Molly her Box" - the exterior decorated with ladies, gents on horseback, storks, stags, trees and cottage on a white ground - the lid with cotterpin hinges - probably early 20th century - minor crazing and overall very good condition - measures 6"W x 3 1/2"D x 2 5/8"H.
