Description
A Mid Century Modern German cloisonne and mixed media cigarette box. Brass, enamel, wood, and other elements. Produced circa 1960s in the style of Karl Schibensky for Scholz & Lammel (West Germany). Hinged and lidded brass body with rectangular enameled insert to lid depicting Modernist floral shapes in delicate cloisonne designs. Cedar wood lining to interior bottom. Accompanied by matchbook cover in identical design and materials. No apparent signature. Box measures approximately 1.25" x 5" x 3.25". Match cover measures approximately .75" x 2" x 1.5".
Condition: Good overall condition having mild to moderate age related surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
