Bound in period full polished calf, gilt. *********** FIRST EDITION of this early 19th century work on the Russian Empire, which suddenly finds new relevance in our current time as efforts are underway to resurrect "Novorossiya," or New Russia.
Condition
Folding frontis and title with some wrinkling and some wrinkling (mostly to margins) throughout, a few light and faded water-stains, some foxing and light soiling (mostly to frontis and title.) Binding intact, rubbed at extremities, label chipped away. As-is.
