Extremely rare, the wooden body measuring 2 7/8" in length, in Pfeffer's colorful hand painted finish, with a floppy prop and the simple screw eye hook hangers seen on his earliest examples. Most likely unfished, the condition is Ex-/Ex, with light wear, tail tip rub, small nicks, paint crazing, pointers and minor soiling, uncleaned. One of the rarest and most coveted of all Florida lures and certainly the Holy Grail of Jim Pfeffer made baits. Even for the most advanced lure collection, this would be a centerpiece.
